Every piece is made by hand.

Made to order

Nothing here is pulled off a shelf and shipped.

Every rug is punched by hand, one at a time. No two come out the same — the pile sits slightly differently, the edges are trimmed by eye, and the piece you get is the piece that was made for your order.

Wall art is cut from wood by hand and finished under a poured epoxy coat, so the grain still reads through the gloss. Mirrors are cut from real mirror glass to the shape of the design.

Because each piece is started when it is ordered, we make what people actually want instead of guessing a run and discounting the rest.

Process

How a piece happens.

Design
The artwork is drawn up and mapped to the size of the piece, so the shapes still read once they are scaled up.

Colour match
Yarn is matched against the design and tested until the palette holds up in the pile rather than just on screen.

Tuft
The piece is punched by hand, loop by loop, onto the backing cloth. This is the part that cannot be rushed.

Finish
Trimmed and shaved to bring out the detail, backed and bound, then checked over and boxed for shipping.
