Shipping Protection
Shipping Protection is optional. It costs $19 per order and you can remove it from your cart any time before checkout. It is a service from Crib Essentials, not an insurance policy.
What's covered
- Lost: your tracking hasn't updated for 10 days, or your package hasn't arrived 10 days after its estimated delivery date.
- Stolen: tracking shows your package was delivered, but you never received it.
- Damaged: your item arrives broken, cracked, or otherwise damaged during shipping.
For a covered claim, we'll send a free replacement of the same item. Made-to-order pieces are remade and follow the normal production time. If a replacement isn't possible, we'll refund the item's price.
What's not covered
- A wrong or incomplete shipping address entered at checkout
- Packages refused, or returned to us because a delivery attempt failed
- Shipping delays when the package is still moving in tracking
- Damage that happens after delivery, or normal wear
- Changing your mind or wanting a different size or design (see our return policy)
Claim window
- Damaged or stolen: within 7 days of the delivery date shown in tracking
- Lost: within 30 days of the estimated delivery date
How to file a claim
Email support@1cribessential.com with the subject "Shipping Protection Claim" and include:
- Your order number
- Your name and shipping address
- What happened (lost, stolen or damaged)
- For damage: photos of the item and the box and packaging, taken before you throw anything away
We reply within 2 business days and usually resolve claims within 5 business days. We may ask you to confirm with the carrier or your neighbors for a stolen package, or to file a police report.
Without Shipping Protection
If you don't add Shipping Protection, your order is still covered by our standard policies, and we'll still help you with the carrier if something goes wrong.
Your Shipping Protection certificate is your order confirmation email, which lists "Shipping Protection" as a line item. Keep it for your records.
