What it is
A butcher's cleaver, cut in wool. Matte black handle with three white rivets, a brushed grey blade, and red running down the edge and pooling at the heel. Die-cut to the exact shape of the blade, so it reads as an object on the floor rather than a picture of one.
Lay it beside the bed for the walk to the kitchen at 2am. Loud enough to carry a plain room on its own, and it does not stop working on November 1st.
